Date: Saturday 22nd February 2025, 10:30am to 2:30pm
Location: Jubilee Central, 62-64 King Edward Street, Hull HU1 3SQ
Everyone is invited to the FREE Hull Seed Celebration at Jubilee Central on Saturday 22nd February 2025 from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
This is a family friendly event, showcasing the great work happening across the city, introducing people of all ages to a range of ways to get involved in growing their own fruit and veg in Hull, and some of the ways we can be more climate conscious in our consumption of food.
We’ll have a range of activities, talks and food – as well as seeds to share and giveaways, along with expert advice on how to get growing.
This year we’ll be celebrating 20 years of Hull being a Fairtrade City, as well as how communities can come together to make good food the norm for everyone.
On the Ground Floor:
- EMS will be promoting the new Hull Growers’ Handbook for 2025 and talking about the Orchard Park Postcode Gardener project
- FREE activities for the kids in the Waltham Room, with We Made This Hull running make and take craft sessions
On the First Floor:
- Delicious food served by the Yorkshire Feast Collective in the chill out area
- In the Queens Hall: stalls and giveaways from Hull Food Partnership, Hull Butterfly City, Green Growers, Hull & East Riding Friends of the Earth, Friends of Alderman Kneeshaw Park, Constable Street Community Allotment, Rooted in Hull, Rainbow Community Garden, Hull City Council Parks and Open Spaces, Living with Water, Hull Fairtrade Partnership, Groundwork Hull and more!
Talks in the Wesley Room (First Floor):
