Hull City Council are establishing a Poverty Truth Commission
A Poverty Truth Commission starts with the real voices of people who have experience of living at the sharp end of poverty, in all sorts of different ways, believing that they need to not only be heard but involved in decisions about poverty.
Hull City Council are holding two events, both on Thursday 12th August, for stakeholders to come together and discuss the opportunities a Poverty Truth Commission might present for Hull.
The Council wishes to engage with potentially interested organisations with the enthusiasm and ambition to deliver the Poverty Truth Commission.
The purpose of this event is to ensure interested organisations have all the relevant information on the service being tendered and to allow an opportunity to raise any queries around the procurement process.
The market engagement will be held over two events via Microsoft Teams. You can
attend either event 1 or event 2:
- Session 1: Thursday 12th August 11.30 – 12.30
- Session 2: Thursday 12th August 18.00 – 19.00
To register your place at the event, please email hollie.leng@hullcc.gov.uk with your preferred time.
Agendas and supporting documents will be provided to attendees closer to the date.
Please could you also share widely with your networks and contacts to ensure everyone gets an opportunity to hear about the benefits of the Poverty Truth Commission.
